He worked as a professional fund raiser and consultant to organizations seeking funding. He ran a national marketing company, and also promoted and produced large scale events such as concerts, seminars and stage shows.
Ed developed, and co-developed several publications for law enforcement groups and Special Olympics teams from around the country. He was also instrumental in forming a local community paper in the Atlanta Georgia area. He and his wife Sonja Christiansen are in the early stages of creating a periodical magazine for integrated medicine in the state of Oklahoma.
During those years Ed studied several forms of holistic healing. For the past two decades he has used his marketing and promotional skills to put forward the idea that health care professionals, whether from standard or holistic schools could and should work together. His belief is that it is only through that relationship that true healing can take place.
When they were both around ten years old, Ed and Sonja met for the first time. They became friends and confidants over the next four years. When his parents moved from Maine in 1961 the friends could not know what the next forty odd years would yield.
Forty some years later their paths crossed again. Over the next few years they retied their bonds of so long ago and formed a partnership both professionally and personally. Today, they work towards their common goal of educating others concerning integrated health care and the benefits to people and earth alike. |
